Domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness, and no survivor should ever be forced to stay with an abusive partner just to keep a roof over their head.
We arrange short-term emergency shelter in local hotels for adults and their children who are fleeing violent situations. This temporary housing provides immediate safety from danger, but it is not intended as a long-term solution to housing instability.
Rapid Re-housing is a support program designed for individuals who become homeless while escaping violence. Funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), it offers short-term and emergency rental assistance to help survivors secure safe and stable housing. In addition to financial support, participants receive comprehensive case management services tailored to their individual needs.
